At Drake’s Landscaping, our work is about more than what happens on your lawn. It’s about the relationships we build, the trust we earn, and the steady, professional experience we bring to every investment, no matter the size.
Here’s a little about who we are, where we came from, and what we stand for.
Who We Are
Drake’s Landscaping is led by Neil and Danielle Mandigo; two people who bring very different strengths to the same shared standard.
Neil is the heart of the company. He’s the kind of person who remembers your dog’s name, notices when something’s changed on your property, and shows up when he says he will. He’s spent years building relationships across Kingston and the surrounding areas, and those relationships are still the foundation of everything we do.
Danielle is the structure behind the scenes. When she stepped into the business, she brought systems, scheduling discipline, and financial clarity that allowed Drake’s Landscaping to grow with intention rather than chaos. Her work is the reason our team can deliver consistent results, season after season.
Together, they’ve built a company where strong relationships and strong structure work hand in hand to create the results you dream of.

How We Started
Drake’s Landscaping started in 2008 the way many good businesses do: through hard work and word of mouth.
We began as a small residential property care company serving homeowners throughout the Kingston area, handling landscape maintenance, snow removal, and the seasonal needs that come with owning a property in our part of the world.
Neil built the company through friendliness, professionalism, and trustworthiness. And when his clients recommended him to friends, family, and neighbours, they did it confidently because they knew he’d take care of anyone sent his way.
That reputation is what allowed the company to grow. And it’s still the reason most of our new clients find us today.
How We’ve Grown
Growing With Intention
As the business expanded, so did the responsibility. What started as hands-on commercial property care evolved into larger landscape construction investments, hardscaping, and long-term commercial maintenance relationships across the greater Kingston area.
But growth came with a choice: scale fast, or scale well.
We chose to scale well.
The goal was never to become the biggest. It was to become better.
The Standard Today
Today, Drake’s is built on two strengths:
We surround ourselves with team members and partners who take pride in professionalism and not just in how the work looks when it’s finished, but in how they represent themselves on your property while the work is happening.
Growth hasn’t changed how we show up. It’s strengthened the consistency behind it.

Our Mission
Built on Referrals. Sustained by Trust. Structured for Consistency.
Built on Referrals
Almost everyone we work with came to us through someone else. That’s not an accident; it’s the result of doing right by people year after year. We never take a referral lightly because we know our clients are putting their own reputation on the line when they send someone our way.
Sustained by Trust
Over the years, we’ve learned that most people don’t just want their property improved. They want to feel understood while it’s happening. They want to ask questions without feeling rushed. They want honest answers about budget and scope. They want to know someone is paying attention.
Landscaping can be exciting, stressful, or even overwhelming depending on what is happening in someone’s life. Our role is to bring clarity and steadiness to that process.
Structured for Consistency
Good intentions only go so far without good systems. The structure we’ve built behind the scenes (clear communication, organized scheduling, transparent quoting, and a well-trained team) is what allows us to deliver the same quality of experience whether it’s your first investment with us or your fifteenth.
